Tunnel Rush with Shade Playground Structure in Natural

Tunnel Rush with Shade is the same compact, vertical school-age playground for ages 5 to 12, with an integrated overhead canopy that shades the upper deck and slide entries from direct sun. An enclosed tunnel slide, a wave slide, climbers, and a curved bridge connect across elevated decks. The Natural palette of green, brown, and tan suits sites that read with the landscape.

The 29 ft x 29 ft use zone holds 30 to 34 children at one time. The shade canopy mounts to the same post system as the main structure and shares the same use zone footprint.

The integrated tan shade canopy reduces direct sun exposure on the deck, slide entries, and climbing surfaces. This is especially valuable on sites with limited tree coverage in regions with high UV index or extended summer heat. Shade does not eliminate the need for sunscreen or hydration, but it extends comfortable use of the playground during peak sun hours.
